Information Technology supports and provides network infrastructure, computer and audiovisual hardware, help desk support and software solutions to employees and county facilities.
Information Technology provides Douglas County personnel with:
- Tools to maintain accurate and cost-effective government management
- Reliable availability of computer resources
- Systems and programming services for design, development and programming of new applications, enhancements of existing systems, program modification, and maintenance
- Software and hardware problem determination and resolution
- Classroom and one-on-one computer training
- Consultation, planning, and purchase of computer-related hardware and software
- Planning, design, maintenance and implementation of county computer networking resources
- Maintains Douglas County websites
