- Ethnic Food Retail Study—Douglas County, Kansas (2019)
- This report celebrates the diversity of the local food system by reporting on the place of local ethnic food retail stores in Douglas County and helps inform priorities for promoting a sustainable food system. This report was prepared by the KU Center for Community Health & Development for the Food Policy Council.

- Go through key secondary data to better understand the various sectors of our local food system, from farm to plate. This report helped lay a foundation for the creation of the Douglas County Food System Plan.
- 2017 Douglas County Local Food Wholesale Directory
- This updated directory exists to make it easier for local foods to reach wholesale buyers in Douglas County, KS. It includes a local food seasonality chart, information on 26 area producers and 22 county wholesale food buyers, including grocery stores, school districts, and restaurants. The regional food hub is included as both a provider and purchaser of local foods! In addition, local organizations working on gleaning and recovery are featured along with information concerning food donation laws and protections for good faith donors. Tips and resources concerning farm to school purchasing offer guiding advice and example documents from Lawrence Public Schools. All Table of Contents listing and page number on producer/buyer summary information grids are hyperlinked to take to to that section of the document.

- This county-wide report was completed by SCALE, Inc. The findings and recommendations are from on-the-ground research in Douglas County during the 2016 farmers market season. It was commissioned by the Douglas County Food Policy Council and funded through a USDA Farmers' Market Promotion Program grant.
