The Kansas Department of Transportation (KDOT) is hosting a public information open house to present near-term improvements for the K-10 (SLT) and E 1200 Road (Kasold) intersection as part of the K-10 West Leg South Lawrence Trafficway (SLT) Study on Wednesday, June 1, 2016. The public is invited to attend the open house style meeting anytime between 5:00 and 7:00 p.m. at First United Methodist Church West Campus, Multipurpose Room, 867 U.S. 40 in Lawrence, KS 66049 .
This K-10 West Leg SLT Study Public Information Open House will be focused only on the near-term improvements on the K-10 and E. 1200 Road Intersection in south Lawrence (Douglas County). There will be no information presented or discussions held for any other portions of the K-10 West Leg SLT Study area at this public open house.
At the open house, attendees can review the study’s goals to improve K-10 to a four-lane freeway from I-70/Kansas Turnpike interchange to the U.S. 59 interchange in Lawrence, as well as view the recommended near-term improvements for the existing K-10 and E1200 Road intersection. KDOT and the study team will be on-hand to answer questions. There will be no formal presentations.
