Fairgrounds - Maintenance
The Douglas County Commission approved a motion to repeal and replace Resolution No. 97-11 with the Douglas County Fairgrounds Guide for Fairgrounds Rentals Use, Rental Agreement, and 2017 Fee Schedule. The Commission approved it in November of 2016. A rental agreement must be signed and received in the office for every reservation. By signing the rental agreement, you are stating that you have read the guide and agreement and agree to comply to all terms set forth.

Camping is only allowed at the Douglas County Fairgrounds in conjunction with an event. There are 16 RV camping spots available to rent for 15 dollars per hookup/per day and include a 50 amp hookup. These are electrical only spots and do not include water. A dumping station is available at the south side of the site near electrical hookup #1. These will be rented on a first-come, first-serve basis.
For the 2018 Douglas County Fair:
Closer to Fair time, an email will be sent out to 4-H families notifying them that we are open to take reservations for the electrical hookups.
Plans for the newly renovated Flory Meeting Hall. The Flory Meeting Hall is 5000 sq. ft. and can be split into two buildings by a partition. The West side has a capacity to hold up to 180 people. There are 120 chairs and 20 rectangular tables available for use. The East side also has a capacity to hold 180 people. The East side has 128 chairs and 16 round tables available. If additional tables and chairs are needed, they can be rented from an outside company. If renting both buildings or the East side, a kitchenette is available to be rented.
The Douglas County Fairgrounds now allows alcohol to be present at certain events. Please see the Fairgrounds Policies section for more information on the rules and regulations of possessing alcohol on the Fairgrounds. There is a non-refundable application fee of $25.00 due at the time the application is submitted.
